Vladimir Ivkovic’s Library of Mysterious Compositions

Every now and then, Vladimir Ivkovic shows us around in his library and shares some of his finds. Enjoy the selection, but please be quiet.

Henry Krutzen – L’ Alpiniste

This is my kind of take-me-to-the-top-baby, sky-is-the-limit, up-up-up-uplifting song, and in contrast to uplifting cliche songs, L’Alpiniste“ ends quite uplifting, optimistic, and funny.

Telectu – Palolo

I don’t know why this song is here. Maybe it’s imagination of the top sort. It’s certainly something good to zone out to for 20 minutes.

Nurse With Wound – She And Me Fall Together Like Free Death

There is not much to say about this song. Subtle intensity and plenty of stuff inside and to imagine.

Pere Ubu – Codex

I think about you all of the time.
I did this.
And I went there.
And I think about you all of the time.
The day fades away.
And the night passes over.
And I think about you all of the time.
I think about you all of the time.
Here come my shoes.
Here comes me!
One, two.
One…

I think about you all of the time.
Step after step.
Block after block.
I think about you all of the time.
The day fades away.
And the night passes over.
And I think about you all of the time.
I think about you all of the time.
I hear.
I say.
I see. I do.
I think about you.
All of the time.
